06/18 - Spa at Bar Harbor Club Opens for 2006 Season -- The Bar Harbor Club is once again the focal point along the waterfront of center
Bar Harbor. Having just won a Maine Statewide Historic Preservation Honor Award from Maine
Preservation, the Club is also celebrating the grand opening of the Spa at Bar Harbor Club, a
1,950 square foot full service Spa tucked privately away on the Club's lower level.
06/14 - Bar Harbor Club Receives Maine Preservation Honor Award --
Maine Preservation has presented one of its 10th Annual Maine
Statewide Historic Preservation Honor Awards to the Bar Harbor Club, restored in 2003 by
Ocean Properties Ltd.
05/12 - Statewide Preservation Honor Awards Announced -- The
organization Maine Preservation presented the 2006 Statewide Historic Preservation Honor Awards at an afternoon ceremony on May 12th at the
award-winning Marsden Hartley Cultural Center of the Lewiston Public Library.
06/15 - Bar Harbor Club Debuts Waterfront Dining in The Club Room --
The historic Bar Harbor Club, one of the few original, classic buildings in
the center of Bar Harbor and a survivor of the great fire of 1947, lives again thanks to the
investment and inspiration of Ocean Properties. Re-opened in 2003, and once again at the
heart of Bar Harbor's social scene as the venue for weddings, dinners and other special
events, the Bar Harbor Club is now offering dining with a fabulous view of Frenchman's Bay,
as well.
